He won but that's not the point.. A mover with speed and volume gave him fits. Devon has all of that plus power. Bradley beat Devon with his head and by not letting him breathe. Broner doesn't have the style to do that. He's a structured counter puncher. He doesn't close distance or cut off the ring remarkably well, from what I've seen.



I hardly "rampage". I back up all my opinions with strategy and a consideration of styles.

You see, from a medievel strategic/war viewpoint, guys like malignaggi, and devon are strafer/skirmishers with varying degrees of firepower. Broner is a stronghold type. Mayweather is a mobile fortress with a stronge cadre of knights ready to charge out the front gate... Maidana is an invading force armed with siege towers and a battering ram...

Mobile fortress guys and skirmishers can flummox an invading force... But a stronghold? That can be breached and conquered. The world is littered with "impregnable" strongholds that turned out to be anything but. This is a 50 50 fight at best. But in all reality, Maidana will have the advantage because he will have

A. Initiative
B. Firepower advantage
