Ironically it was the performance before the KO that made me think 'Pac is back'

I think he was bleeding/busted a bit, but IMO he looked more "hurt" in the fourth fight than in their first round. I think in that round he was more caught off-guard and stunned than anything else.Comment

You cats also fail to realize the main reason PAC looked better is b/c Marquez stopped fighting pac with the usual tit-for-for style he used in the first 3 fights to become less active, more calculated, sitting on his punches relying on the right.
This is the main reason why PAC looked better.Last edited by Pacquiao'd; 10-23-2013, 08:22 PM.Comment

I felt Marquez lured PAC and was waiting for an opportunity to land the ko shot, that's why Marquez was less active in the later rounds.Comment

This is the main reason why PAC looked better.Manny had Marquez in trouble in rounds 5 and 6 just prior to the KO. You can't say that Marquez wanted that and had planned for that.Comment

i can easily agree on your post in the sense that the old, daredevil reckless pac got the better of so many years of training under fredie...pac's excitement or desire to put a golden trophy of an end of his rivalry with jmm boomerang-ed on him....a very short moment of carelessness did him in in that fightBefore that KO by hulked up Marquez Pac looked to be on point, most impressive he looked since Margarito imo, such a shame that he literally ran into that punch
. As long as the 'switch' hasn't been pushed on Pac's chin and he beats Rios he's still the guy that will give Floyd his toughest fight. The question is his chin, with talk that he was sparring with Ruslan before the Marquez bout (dumb move by roach) maybe he had some residual effects? And in addition the strange body transformation that Marquez went through might have had an effect on his future ability to take a punch..
Pac is mentally strong though it's remarkable really, dude was put to sleep and reportedly played chess and doesn't seem to be really shattered mentally like other boxers.
In conclusion it's not whether his physical attributes have declined, because I believe this is largely a myth, his speed, power and stamina have declined since Hatton which I believe was his absolute prime, but they haven't declined as drastically as people have made out, the question is his chin.Comment
