it's a pity, because he's the HW champion of the world, but i can see why HBO feels that way.


i'll stream his fights, but the days of being excited to see wladimir put on a clinic are all but over. the povetkin fight was embarrassing.

yea,,,im giving him one more chance as Im a loyal fan but another pathetic display like the last fight and im never watching him again. that was just not cool and hes very lucky he wasnt dq'd. im curious to what would have happened had he been warned

I was going to say something and than decided why bother. But what hell I say it anyways. Wlad was horrible in the Povetkin fight and should really and truly be embarrassed because of the way he decided to fight. What I truly don't understand is why? He was hurting Alex every time he hit him solid and if he would have let his hands go even a couple times instead of clinching or pushing down I have no doubt he would have stopped the Russian in pretty spectacular fashion. I will also say that Wlad really and truly turned me off in that fight and anyone who pays attention knows I am a huge fan of his. With that said I also have eyes and I can still see rather well and there is, in my opinion, absolutely no valid excuse for that stink fest of a fight.
