    Please try to understand

Showtime have stumped up millions of dollars for this 6 fight deal with Floyd. It is imperative to them that this is recouped (and then some) in order for a profit to be made. It's the oldest law in business.

When you're the P4P best fighter in the world, each fight IS a business. It's the primary reason for putting the gloves on, doing the hours in the gym and performing successfully on the night to maintain the status-quo.

So, think with your business head on. Floyd is fighting in May. There are two real candidates who, more than anyone else (Manny aside) who can generate enough ppv revenue to warrant a fight making the kind of money required to subsidise the television deal.

Danny Garcia. He's the man who deserves it, and was Floyd s chef support last time out. Good fighter, undefeated, very marketable. However, doesn't have that stardust, isn't known to casual fans, still isn't rated perhaps as highly as he should be. Also his style suggests a tale tale pattern of fight with Floyd s last opponents.

Amir Khan. The man who doesn't deserve it. Lost 2 of his last 4, carries no belt, and even tho he won his last fight, it was close and he was dropped. But, in terms of ppv, he's smash Garcia out of the park. Big UK fan base, would sells buckets there. Floyd is promoting this Dec in the UK, again, extra exposure for the TMT brand. Amir is also a cross over star, maybe not so much in the States, but certainly is here. His style also makes for a more interesting match up than Garcia.

So, as a fan who do you choose? You choose Garcia, he deserves his shot. A no brainer.

But, as a business man, who do you choose? You choose Amir. Even more of a no brainer. You'd have to be thicker than gravy not to understand why it makes more business sense. Makes more money.

Are Floyd and Leonard and Hamon all business men?

Come on now, please try to understand the fundamental nature and law of boxing. It's a business. This is the best deal that can currently be made. It's very, very simple.

Why do you think Floyd fought Canelo? Its because showtime lost loot on the Ghost fight, Canelo was logical for the next one. It was the best business deal at the time.

Amir Khan is the best business deal at THIS time, and he will be the next person to fight Floyd. So i suggest you accept it and understand the reasons behind it so that ultimately, you can all enjoy it.

After all, if you were risking your life each and every time you fought for others entertainment, wouldn't you want as much money as possible?

You are of course right. But people here don't care they just wan to insult Floyd.

That being said Id be very disappointed if Khan was Floyd's next fight.
If he's having trouble selling tickets he should fight Broner.

But the only person I want to fight Floyd is Lara. Don't get me wrong I will be watching Floyd's next fight regardless, but Lara is the only one within reason that will trouble Floyd.

**** that, Floyd deserves insults if he fights Khan, there's no defending that fight. That fight may be his worst ever since Oscar intruduced him to ppv stardom.

Are you saying fans should be (OK) with Floyd/Khan?? That's insane. Should a heterosexual man be (OK) with getting ****ed??

Are you ****ing ****** or something? I clearly said I'd be disappointed if the fight happened. I'm sorry if that's not worked up enough for you but I don't care that much.

I can definitely see the business stand point.. Similar to the Hatton fight..

Is this fight officially signed? Or in the works? Where would they fight? England or Vegas?

Risk his life is not in the mayw dictionary! It's obvious that Floyd is unwilling to fight anyone whom is a legit threat! That being said I'm no longer buying another Floyd fight until he otherwise does.

I actually like the fight, and whilst i absolutely agree that Khan doesn't deserve it, it'll be refreshing to see someone who can match him for speed. Lets face it, Floyd has been served up (and wiped out) a whole line of power punchers lately, do we really need to see it again?

We're getting to a point now whereby credible opponents are getting thin on the ground. The two who stand out, Manny and Broner, are not on the horizon, mores the pity, so there really isnt much left to go with !

Garcia would be like a lamb to the slaughter. Khan too most likely, but i genuinely think he'll be more competitive, whilst it lasts.

Could be that Floyd is simply a victim of his own success. Does he actually NEED to fight 4 more times? He's proven beyond doubt. Cast your mind back to the moment he beat Canelo....chances are you were like me and left in awe. You can only beat the man in front of you, and he's done that in droves. Shame he's such a difficult person to like !

No, i stand by it, Khan offers something a little different, and remember, he's never in a bad fight.

              Bring it on i say.

I wouldn't even be mad at Khan if he took that fight. Any man in their right mind passing up millions is ******. On the other hand, Floyd would be the one to blame. Cherry pick at it's most obvious. I wouldn't buy the fight and I don't think it'll sell well anywhere other than the UK.

LOL. I can't believe after what Floyd Sr. said that people are still interested in supporting and buying this.

"All those tough guys and champions that Floyd fought over the years. I think Floyd deserves an easy a** fight like Amir Khan. I want Floyd to tear his a** out of frame.
Amir Khan don't deserve to fight Floyd. But Floyd deserves an easy ass fight like Amir Khan

He's already telling you why they want Khan. Because its an easy ass fight that will make the same if not more money than a harder fight.

Just because it make business sense doesn't mean he deserves credit for fighting him.
