Alvarado shouldn't have even been put in the position to where he had to say I don't want to continue. the corner said to the ref we're stopping the fight and for some reason that isn't valid to the ref and he wants to hear it from Alvarado. Alvarado complained in his first fight with Rios about a bogus stoppage, this way allowed zero complaints, it was done perfectly. Alvarado quit, lost, Ruslan shouldn't give him a rematch, he doesn't deserve it. Ruslan had to go to his hometown, and he dominated him. I'd like to see him fight other people now.

I don't think its the point of the article that people have a problem with, its the childish way in which its written. It sounds more like the writers feelings are hurt the way he was going on, like a kid throwing a temper tantrum not a writer trying to get his point across.

I don't usually rate Lyle F as a writer, and I must admit when I first read this article, I was scratching my head. BUT READ THE HEADLINE, he's having a dig at a minority of keyboard warriors that hate on a fighter that chooses to end a contest after receiving significant punishment.

The only thing I have against the Writer is he always finds a negative or sarcastic spin on everything. After the first Rios-Alvarado fight he talked about there was nothing special about it.
