Manny does not have god awful defense or head movement but he is there to be hit....all night. This is just plain ******, it's a disgusting notion.
I'm just talking about this fight. Ignore everything else and watch this fight. Compared to how Bradley did against Marquez, Provodnikov and even alexander.

Pacquiao's defense in this fight, comparatively, was exceptional. Bradley could hardly land on him.

Manny danced all over Tim in this fight. He took his foot off the gas down the stretch, but he still won the bout. And yes, Tim could not land what he wanted to. In my opinion, that isn't a testament to Manny's "underrated" defense, I just don't think Bradley is that good of a fighter. Not taking anything away from Pacquaio's supposed victory, because Tim is a credible fighter and P4P'er, just in my personal opinion, he isn't really that good.

So PAC is not a smart fighter but he's a talented one?? Wth lol.. So if PAC is able to beat those "smart" fighters then what does that say about PAC?? And PAC does well going backwards, ask cotto in the 4th round.

Pac does exceptionally well going backwards. Problem is his opponents are so scared of him and cautious, it is Pac doing all the chasing.

Pacs opponents wont commit and just make sure they move a lot to avoid being hit.
They also move their arms a lot like Bradley did, to pretend they are active with pretend jabs that wouldn't break a rice pudding.

Your jabs should only score if they are thrown with intent like Larry holmes jab.

The problem is people became so accustomed to seeing Pacquiao roasting his opponents that they ignored the subtle skills he has, his lateral/head movement, incredible footwork etc. He showed good defense against Margarito too.

Pacman skills are underrated big time.

You could see Pacman's defensive skills in all its glory in the Mosley fight. He was forced to (he sprained his ankle again) he can't move. He wanted Mosley to press the fight and stood in front of him doing nothing except cover his face with his gloves. Mosley was too terrified to do anything. Crowd was booing. Pacman, again, was forced to entertain the crowd even with his legs hurting. Don't take my word for it. Just watch it again and see for yourselves.

That he's a great fighter..IMO Pac's best weapons are his hand speed and footwork..He has some of the best footwork in the business..His footwork going backwards however is very suspect..It's also a direction Pac does not like and has shown does not fight well off of either..Look to his fights with Bradley Morales and even at times Marquez..

Your right Pac was great against Cotto..Let's also not act as if Cotto was ever hard to hit..Cotto has always been a sucker for straight punches and uppercuts..

How good is his defense when he's not only been beaten, but ktfo 3 times. Pac has good defense. Floyd has great defense.

Floyd has the better offense too.

Floyd has been able to adapt to every last fighter that he's fought.

Pac is only entertaining to guys who are tailormade for him. Floyd is entertaining against everyone.
