I fully expected Judah to lose as he does in most big fights and against Matthyse it was definitely a tough fight for Danny, but Matthyse's power at top level has been shown not to be as scary as he is made out to be. Danny had a little struggle with both. Danny is at the 'prime' age for boxing.

I fully expected May to beat both Canelo and Gurrerro, but the way he beat them was even easier than expected. Both were pretty much the top guys of the division in beating Trout and Berto in 147 and 154.
Floyd is 36 years old and still sharp and fast as ever and his legs are still there. His age is the decline age...

            am I missing something here?

Who else has Angel trained that makes him a great trainer? As far as I can see he only has his son who lets be real is limited as hell but powerful as hell so that bails him out.

            He can slap though

Good points, but I attribute floyd recent success as a testament to his greatness. Without angels motivating idk if he gets past Lucas, even tho is chin is crazy

                    Hahaha

I don't get why this guy gets so much hate. He loves his son and tells it like it is.

                    I think he's cute.

His pre-fight loudmouth nonsense made the Judah fight much harder on his son, and then he was being outboxed on Sept 14th until Matthysse's unfortunate eye-swelling. There was no magic stardust from racist Angel.

Stevenson's trainer Javan Steward or Kovalev's trainer David John Jackson deserve it more. They dominated and KO'd world champions.
