At welterweight nobody has done better against Floyd than Victor Ortiz

Imagine if that was a prime 2009 Pacquiao, who is basically a compact version of Ortiz with better angles, better speed, heart , activity, and would never get knocked out by a guy who has no power like floyd.

Done better at what getting picked apart other than Sharmba Mitchell this might have been his easiest fight at the weight.

Ortiz was landing hard on mayweather to the head and to the body.

He was boxing on the outside, getting in position with his footwork and applying effective pressure, and also catching mayweather on the ropes from an angle where he can tee off and not get countered.

Besides Castillo, this is the most competitve Mayweather fight I've seen.

Maidana made him quit, Mayweather hit him while he wasn't looking. There are probably better fights to praise Floyd for.

In what rds? His punches was soft straight lefts and a head-butt if you think this was competitive you must have thought Floyd damn near killed everybody else Cotto was more competive, Hatton did better, Oscar did better. Ortiz eye was damn swollen shut before the 4th rd started.

I'm not trying to praise anybody. I'm just telling the truth.

While it lasted, Victor Ortiz was doing better against Mayweather than I have ever seen, besides Castillo.

This style of fighting puts heavy pressure on Mayweather, and Pacquiao is the master of this style of fighting.

Do you realise and that time Floyd had out threw and out landed ortiz by double so no Ortiz wasn't putting any pressure of Floyd.

Oritz was taking alot of shots... but he attacked Mayweather in the fourth round better than Canelo or even Cotto. Who knows how it would've ended if Ortiz wasnt such a ******ed faggot and Mayweather wasn't a sucker punching coward

The question isn't can you outland Floyd, hes going to outland 99% of every fighter out there.

The question is can you land and can you make them count, and can you survive long enough until his hands start hurting.

Ortiz was landing good shots and had an effective offense, better than everyone i've seen with the exception of castillo.
