I think Broner is a true champ, but not at 147. He could probably rule 135 with an iron fist.

But at 147? His power won't translate. Ruslan is there to be hit, and you can tell he can be stopped with cuts. But Broner doesn't hit hard at 147. Ruslan would relish the fight.

Sure, Broner has the shoulder roll, but without much movement, eventually Ruslan would crush him. That is unless, Broner has made improvements since we've seen him.

But unless Broner becomes a better boxer, Ruslan would crush him. Broner has the hand speed, and that shoulder roll, but at 147, that aint enough to hang with the top dogs. He needs more.

And he's not koing anybody of note at 147.

I think you guys need to go back and watch Ruslan vs Bradley and Alvarado.

I can't see Broner standing in the pocket for 12 rounds, picking off Prov. I don't even think Broner, at this point, packs the power to keep Prov off him. Broner would eventually have to fight going backwards, which he hasn't shown us he can do consistently throughout a fight.

I think Ruslan, bobs and weaves pretty well and he's good at cutting off the ring. He's good at turning at an angle and throwing hooks. Broner would pick him off temporarily but to do it twelve rounds, is asking a lot from a fighter who's not a natural welterweight.

I don't know man, I saw a left hook from hell that Prov was throwing and landing. I think he caught Bradley with it too. I'm not too fond of Broner's defense, he can get caught cleanly by average fighters. He uses some kind of pseudo-philly shell that is really just a notch above Berto's pathetic attempt against Guerrero, but still silly. They use it, but they are not effective with it at all like Mayweather and Toney.

Broner would beat the living **** out of Provodnikov. He would stand in front of Broner and take the beating of his life.

History? Which big, hard-punching 140/147'ers has Broner fought? Why should the narrative not be that you have to be a mover to beat Provodnikov?

Why do some of you consider it offensive to even ponder this fight? Ruslan took Bradley to the wire, and now just beat Alvarado. That's better than anything Broner has done.

Why act like it wouldn't be anything but a good fight?

Is racial solidarity that important to you?
Dude, step back and take a breath. Where did I say it wouldn't be a good fight? And where did I say it was offensive to ponder this fight? If u answer those questions then maybe I'll respond to u. Otherwise stop begging for my attention with ur race baiting, drop your skirt.

That's a real bad matchup for Broner, good thing that Ruslan is buddy-buddy with Arum.
