I would love to see Provodnikov vs Broner.

All prov has is the right hand? Did you see him take an angle and whack alvarado with a left hook repeatedly? And prov's body attack is vicious. Standing infront of him flatfooted would be suicide.

not saying i disagree with you conclusion but your reasoning makes no sense.
Disagree, Ponce won that fight in the eye's of most, mine included.

I simply don't rate Broner. His footwork is crap, his defence is very leaky, his power looks average against guys his own size and he's struggled with fighters he should have beat comfortably...a shot Malignaggi was hitting him at will. I see him beating Maidana who is also small at the weight and very limited, but Provodnikov would stop him.

Standing flat-footed in front of a big puncher when your defence is leaky is not going to work, and it's all Broner has shown he can do.

Agree with that. The left was what killed Alvarado. Ruslan would get close, lean than pivot and throw it. Look at Alvarado's eye for the proof. Ruslan really was impressive and more measured in this fight than against Bradley. Broner would have trouble if he stood there with Ruslan. Its like Roy said, Ruslan hurt Bradley, a guy that is strong and tough as hell. He can hurt anyone, Broner would have to move and we dont know if he can do it for 12 rounds against a naturally big and strong guy.

what? did you see the fight last night? provo landed a lot of left hooks on Alvarado...more lefts than right if I remember it correctly.

and broner's style...which one? he got fast hands i'll give you that but he got no footwork to handle a pressure fighters especially someone who can take his power.

Provo no where skilled as broner but right now it's a bad style match up for broner simply because I have not seen broner use of foot speed. Broner stands with his feet wide apart and that's not a good idea against any face first brawler with a chin and power

ponce ran in that fight...........in order for broner to look good he NEEDS you to come forward with lots of aggression.

Me too. Just to see the reactions of posters when Broner picks him the **** apart.

Broner is at his best against opponents that stay in the pocket. He has struggled against guys that move and keep him off balance.

Provo would do better than Chino will in my opinion. Ill have a better feel for Broner after the chino fight though.

malignaggi gave LOTS & LOTS of movement........are you serious? malignaggi has great head movement & footwork. he also triples up on the jab. (lprovodnikov doesn't throw the jab at all & walks in trying to unleash one 2 power shots) look. in order for broner to look good or put a beating on a guy he needs you to come forward. provodnikov is not much better then maidana. provodnikov has better power but maidana is more relentless & has way better stamina.

in no way shape or form do i see provodnikov or maidana beating broner (you need head movement, fundamentals, speed.) you have to be able to outbox & out class broner. not come to him and fall into his traps all night (you will take a beating)

by the way......you said that mnaidana was small for the weight. provodnikov is actually smaller then maidana.
