but keep in mind, those amateur fights are 4-round fights.
Too bad it isn't going to happen. The first two opponents that flashed in my head after this fight ended was indeed Matthysse and Garcia. I'm a bit tired of Rios, but that'd be a good fight anyway. Also the Bradley rematch.

            stop yourself

He had Ruslan stop dead in his tracks numerous times, and he was clearly hurt

He never did a dance but there are other obvious signs of a guy being hurt, come on now
I remember there being a nice body shot he landed on Ruslan that hurt him for a few seconds. That's it. In any case, we can go the other way. Lucas got buzzed by a Devon Alexander punch, and he himself stated that Humberto Soto got his attention with his punches. Not exactly heavy hitters. At this point, I'd favor Ruslan's power punching, especially with Lucas sustaining that bad eye injury from Danny. That could be problematic. I'm a fan of both guys. Just calling it like I see it.

Boy... 6 weeks ago, nobody would have picked Provodnikov... Danny really derailed that hype train... I'm a Swift fan, but I'm sad to see people losing faith in Matthysse. The dude's still a legit killer. I mean, who else has KD'd all their opponents bar one? Ali Raymi? LOL! I think Lucas would still destroy anyone not named Danny Garcia at 140 lbs. Provodnikov's defense is garbage. I know, it's slightly better than Rios's, but it's bad enough that Danny and Lucas could left hook Ruslan's right orbital bone to the back of his head in exchanges. I think Provodnikov can definitely **** and he has heart, but his style makes him tailormade for Danny and Lucas.
