Alvarado/Rios III incoming

You must want to see Alvarado burn himself out then. His last five fights have been wars. The only won he didn't cut or swell in was his fight against Herrera. I don't think he needs a long break but he'll be toast soon if he keeps getting in fights like these.
But on the other hand it's probably the most money he can make. It might be safe to say that Mike has hit his ceiling and it might be time to cash out.Comment

I didn't find Vargas/Wale all that entertaining, but Vargas/Narh was easier to watch. I didn't have any expectations going into it, so maybe that's why I was satisfied with his performance. He switched his style up a bit against Narh, planting his feet and counter-punching instead of stick-and-moving.Comment

If Ruslan knew how to cut the ring off, he would've KO'd Bradley. He could have stopped Alvarado earlier in their fight, but he had trouble cutting him off. He's a relentless fighter, but he gives his opponent/s too much time to recover.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 10-20-2013, 12:12 AM.Comment

If the plan is to make a third fight, what's the point of jeopardizing it? Might as well give him that extra time to rest and recharge for the next battle. I think Alvarado is at the point where he should take meaningful fights and then take long rests in between, which is what he's been doing. After Prescott, he came back in 5 months and fought Herrera. After that, came back in 6 and fought Rios. After that, came back in 5 for the rematch. It took about 7 months for him to get back in the ring to face Ruslan. You must want to see Alvarado burn himself out then. His last five fights have been wars.
