What's up with this coward?

First he should have counted Alvarado out with that stunt he pulled getting up at 9 1/2 seconds. He literally uttered the words "10" then took it back and gave Alvarado the hometown benefit of the doubt.

Then when Alvarado corner told him they were stopping it he said "no, I want to hear it from his mouth!" "Mike, do you want me to stop it?" "YES!"

Why the hell didn't he stop the fight after his corner demanded they stop it? Does anyone have a damn explanation for that ****?

If Alvarado had survived and gone on to win the fight, that first KD would have been a huge controversy. Weeks absolutely counted to 10 and gave Alvarado a hometown bull**** break.

He got up just in time, nothing wrong with that. But I am a bit curious why he completely ignored his trainer when he wanted to stop the fight and asked Alvarado directly. That's weird, I never saw that before.

If the fight was in the UK he would have been counted out at 8! I'm glad he let Mike get up. If he stands at 9 and a half it go on. Don't need to be so technical.

The fight is ended when the fighter fails to rise before the end of the 10 count. Alvarado was up before the count of 10 was completed. Simple stuff

Oh please!! He was just giving the CHAMPION who was fighting infront of his hometown the respect and chance he ****in deserves to continue and defend his title. I commend weeks for being able to still think in the heat of the moment.

Some refs count em out at 8 if they ain't up, some at 9 if they don't have their senses, n some at 10, personally I thought he didn't make the count, but being in home town, and the defending champ then I guess it's fair he gets the nod, made little difference hehe
