So cAnelo get a huge pay day, loses, and wil get another huge pay day? They trying to cash him in already lol. But they are giving Ortiz a title shot so guess its not too surprising

Martinez isn't happening. He signed a 3 fight HBO deal after the Chavez Jr. fight and is only 1 fight into it. He will retire after that.
I like the Cotto fight but i think Canelo needs a stay busy, tune up fight to get his mind of that Floyd fight.
I like Ortiz as that would be a good action fight but there are a lot of people at 154 that he could choose...

Seems Canelo trying desperately to keep that weight down. March is a whole 5 1/2 months away. It's time to step up kid, you are no longer a JMW..

GBP are hoping Ortiz beats Molina and I think that he will. Ortiz is a a very underrated fighter he just has no heart. They will match up Canelo and Ortiz next year. It is a very sellable and action packed fight. If Ortiz can somehow beat Molina and Canelo they won't hesitate to make May/Ortiz 2.

I don't believe they would put Canelo in with Cotto or Martinez coming off a lose...its more likely against Molina/Ortiz winner or something around that caliber...

You'd be losing some Money. Too big a gap in the skill department. Any version of Cotto batters Canelo.

This is good to hear. I really like Alvarez, but the Mayweather fight was the wrong fight for him to take (even if it was a financial boon for him).

I think Cotto-Alvarez would not only be an excellent fight, I think it would also be the most lucrative fight for all involved parties.
