Why is Ward Rated Above Carl Froch?

Ward is in a different league to Froch as proven by their fight.

I wouldn't mention Froch win vs Bute as something to hold against Ward. Bute for me has never been a contender to mention until he proved himself against a Super 6 contender as I said multiple time when he was trying to angle for a Ward fight...why should he jump the queue? What made him special? Lo and behold he takes on the runner up and gets destroyed which validated the belief of myself and many others that he in no way deserved a shot at the winner of a 2 year tournament!

Ward is better than Froch. Ward is ranked too high because of his inactivity but he should be ranked above Froch.

ward is a significantly better overall fighter than froch. not taking anything away from the cobra who is one hell of a fighter in his own right, but he is no andre ward. this was quite evident when ward easily outboxed him with a badly broken hand.

ward has been out a long time, but hes got a fight scheduled with a solid opponent. besides froch hasnt really done all that much since losing to ward. mack was a stay busy fight, he is a decent fighter but not a real threat to any champion at 168 or 175.

kessler is a decent fighter too, but froch to me didnt impress against him. kessler hasnt done **** since the first froch fight, which ofcourse was only one fight removed from being outclassed in embarrassing fashion against ward. yet froch is still struggling with him, if he was an oveall better fighter than ward he would be able to expose the massive flaws in kesslers game too and make it an easy night.

bute was indeed a great win, but how does beating the #3 guy elevate you past the #1 guy who beat you just one fight earlier? makes no sense. i agree he has a decent case for a rematch with ward, but he has to drop the demands. ward doesnt really need him, he could never fight at 168 again and he would still be the best super middleweight in history.

I like both guys. Froch is a very good fighter but he's not better than Ward. I think everyone knows this already. It's obviously crap on Ward week around here.
