You complain about being frustrated becuase the fights are anti climactic and then say its just on Floyd's opponents to fix that. Well maybe Floyd should choose different opponents.
What other fighters have done has no bearing on this. If you think thats why I feel this way it says more about you than me. My guess is its easier to post that than to acknowledge the utter ******ity of your argument suggesting floyd, or any fighter, shoud try to "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."

I would love to hear what you as a trainer would tell your fighter if he was leading the fight.

My frustration is opponents who don't try and win once they are down and decide to "lose better". My guess is you don't like that either.

You bugging BIG time. Against Canelo he started walking him down from the opening round. He took risk, stood in the pocket the WHOLE fight. Even when he fought going backwards, he was flatfooted and only right in front of Canelo. He only ran in the last few seconds. And he had Canelo on the ropes, throwing combinations against him, standing right in front of him. He even traded in a few sequences and the crowd scream the WHOLE fight. Danny's fight was boring as hell until the last 3 rounds. The crowd made NO noise during most of that fight.

I guess the Castillo,ODH & Cotto were exiting, but only because those 3 are always in exiting fights & they show up to fight. The Cotto fight was exiting (well to Mayweather standard) because Miguel always makes his fights fan friendly.
Every Floyd fight is NOT the same. He ran and potshotted the Ghost and got boos because it was VERY boring. The fight with JMM was so slick and smooth. Floyd has a RoyJones type of appeal in fights like those, and THATS why people made noise that WHOLE fight. Not screaming in excitement, but going ooh and ahh everytime he did a fancy move. Now the canelo fight, he stood in the pocket the WHOLE fight, walked him down, and trapped him on the ropes to really BEAT UP Canelo. People screamed out of excitement the WHOLE Canelo fight. No one booed like they did against Ghost fight. And danny's fight was boring as HELL until the last 3 rounds.

I really liked his last fight against Canelo. He looked really sharp and fast and picked Canelo apart even walking him down at times. I couldn't get into The fight against Ghost because the Ghost was never a threat.

I think Cotto was a pretty good scrap, other than that, which fight do you think?
The Canelo fight was the same as the cotto fight, except Floyd's defense was tighter. Canelo was a waaay bigger guy, and Floyd stood in the pocket the entire fight. Walked him down and the crowd SCREAMED the WHOLE fight against Canelo. People booed the Ghost fight because he ran and threw one or two punches a round. Floyd was a completely different beast against Canelo and was throwing combinations. That Danny fight was boring as HELL until the last 3 rounds.

Depends on the viewer. I think everyone can agree that the Cotto fight was exciting but I enjoy almost all of his fights.

His most exciting fights imo are Cotto, N'dou, Corley, Augustus, and Gatti.

The Canelo fight is an underrated one. It was a good scrap.

i dont think i can recall floyd being in anything but a good fight, ever.

his skills are dazzling, his talent is out of this world and he never fights just to get by, he always looks to establish dominance and put on real display of superiority allowing for all that skill and talent to be on full display.

anyone who doesnt find that exciting doesnt find boxing exciting.

                    Besides Cotto? Hatton.

The ending to Ortiz was so funny that I almost want to say that was it, but most people were pissed and the fight wasn't exactly exciting.

Exciting is different to all of us. I'm going to side with Frank here. Although I'm not a big Mayweather fan, I love watching him work. I think it's great watching a master school us on the sweet science.

I do wish Mayweather had someone push him, though. I would like to see him seriously challenged for a change. Mosley and Cotto had moments against Floyd, but the outcome was never really in doubt in those fights.
