Im not one to call fighters ducks but it sounds like Diaz couldnt see himself beating Figueroa (viewed himself as a stepping stone) so he signed to a rival promoter who eill ensure he never crosses paths with Omar.

I don't think HBO is completely against having Diaz become champion again. His style = ratings... Especially if he's winning.

Crawford hasn't convinced me fully, and if their treatment of Rigondeaux us any indication of what they will do with boring fighters, they might not be all in either.
