Because getting dropped and stopped by Breidis Prescott is clearly the same as being stopped by murderers like Leonard, Hagler, and Barkley. People seriously need to be quiet if they're clueless.
They really expected more of him and that's understandable. The guy showed a lot of promise in the AM's but he just fell short professionally. They still expect him to be the next coming of Hamed. I truly believe this.

Khan got exposed for having 0 inside game in the Peterson fight. The only way he knew how to stay away from Lamont was by pushing him. It was a close fight regardless and Khan would have probably nicked it outside of D.C., but that was the first real sign that Khan had been overhyped.

Even with that loss, NOBODY was picking Garcia to beat him. I don't remember a single person, myself included, who saw Garcia upsetting Khan ahead of time, let alone knocking him out. The general opinion was that Garcia and his title were getting fed to Amir Khan.

If you're that big of a favorite going into a fight and you get knocked out, there's going to be some serious questions about how good of a fighter you really are.

Garcia has gone on to prove he's the real deal though. I don't think that loss is anything to be ashamed of. I think everyone, Khan included, was guilty of underestimating Danny.

Khan has a small head, is a dumbass, and has no chin.

He has speed, reach, stamina, decent power.

But the dude doesn't have punch resistance.

I actually give him a lot of credit post Prescott. The way he bounced back from that devastating KO was tremendous, that showed true character.....he was written off after that fight and to top it off it was his debut on UK PPV in front of a big UK crowd... He bounced back and won a world title....

The problem with Khan as well as his awful punch resistance is his inability to take the blame for anything, it's always his trainers fault.

Roach did a good job with him, he should have just stayed with him and brought in an assistant to work on defense.

For the sake of humor, I'm going to assume that you're referring to Amir Khan the actor.
