Oscar would have gotten slaughtered by either.

At that time I think either man would have defeated him. He probably would go the distance but be a clear loser. In his prime he beats them both.

Margarito could win also but he would give DLH chances by being in front of him so DLH could accumulate enough combinations to get the win on points.
When DLH fought flaccid mayweather he was already into drugs and booze...a healthy and prime ODLH rips floyd a new azzhole and stuffs uncle roger down it

Your description is a bit graphic and extreme but I agree with the statement that DLH, in his prime and healthy weight, should/could beat Mayweather.

Dlh was too fast for Cotto and Dlh. Unless Dlh was too weight weakened or last it, I'd even pick that Dlh over both.

prime vs prime it would be oscar beating both,,,

even in 07, oscar at 154 was still a very good fighter, and gave floyd alot harder fight than canelo, ghost, shane, jmm, or ortiz has done since,,

I think at 154 in 2008 or 9,,, oscar may have gotten beat by both,, if its 05-07 oscar that isnt weight drained trying to make 147, i think he could beat both at 154,,, Margs would have little chance,,, it would be just like shane-margs,,, oscar hits way too hard to have someone just come in at him,,,, margs would do about as well as mayorga did vs oscar..
Cotto would be a harder challenge and i think cotto would pull out a very close decision like he did vs shane.....

DLH in his prime beats both

DLH was one of the best in his prime. Without regurgitating what others have said previously, I'll end by saying that he'd win both fights but they'd be competitive.

Prime for Prime DLH murders both of them, even DLH up until 07 beats and kos both imo. People tend to forget how great of a fighter he was when focused and in shape.

i think oscar vs margs would have been similar to margs vs cotto 1.

i think cotto vs oscar would have been competitive. i'd say 60/40 oscar edges out ud.

So, do people realize the thread is asking how the Oscar would have done if he hadn't cherry picked Pac to fight at 147, right? So basically Oscar would be fighting Cotto or Margarito at 147 in 2008.
