Because he didn't sell as much or generate as much as floyd.

Manny has only implemented testing for his upcoming fght with rios. Manny wanted 50/50 to agree to ped testing and floyd said no. If you have no problem with Manny refusing the ped testing you should be ok with this.

The $40 mil offer was much later. Terrible offer. But I've noticed fighters like floyd, canelo, kovalev and many others have taken a crappy deal to get a fight they truly want. So please don't act as if manny is too good to do the same thing.

It all depends on whose perspective you wish to see it from.
Wow...Well, I think it's fair that we can use the same logic with Mayweather. We're talking about the biggest fight out there. Talking about a fight where both guys would get about 100 mills.

And you tell me that "if Pac really wanted the fight" he should have taken that offensive offer.

the fighters arent going to make 100 mill each lmao not after paying their promoters and the distributors.

the only reason mayweather and manny are able to make so much is because they are in house fights and the pie isn't being divided amongst all these different promoters and managers

the difference between manny and floyd is manny lies and says he doesnt fight for money he fights for honour when really he is as full of **** as mayweather, mayweather just rarely hides his hypocrisy

Mayweather is the biggest PPV attraction in boxing. But that's not only by himself. For Mayweather/Guerrero, Canelo left the undercard.... and what happened? Not even 1 Mill PPV.... Same with Pacquiao/Bradley.

They both need opposition with a good fanbase to make more than 1MM PPV buys.

people need to understand the 40m was a bad offer in the context of the fight

for example, if floyd offered 55-45, he still would have made near 100 million, so he lost out on his pay day

if pac accepted 40m, floyd would have taken home 100m plus which is not fair

its not just ppv revenue which would be around 150m+ easy, its the sponsors, seriously, the main money from this fight could come from hosting rights, sponsors and future replays

you could have gotten the arab kingdoms offering 20m+ plus to host, you would have had sponsors paying millions upon millions to get their name in the fight

the reason this fight was not made is simple, its too much of a risk for floyd, if its going to happen, it will happen near his last fight of his career where a loss does not matter as much financially

showtime refused to release official numbers due to it doing around 800k ppv buys, reputable sources confirmed it did near did

as they said at the time, you can believe them or live in cookoo land, they have nothing to lose by lying and nothing to gain by the truth.

everyone needs a dance partner for a ppv to be a success

So many of us are wondering how pacquiao is right now in terms of his ability to win a fight. We will soon find out. lf he got knocked out again, all this talks about him having the best chance of beating floyd vanish into thin air like magic.
