I think you either forget or choose not to remember that when Pacquiao's team walked from the only proper negotiations there have ever been (over stringent testing), 50/50 purse, weight penalties, ring size and gloves were all agreed. That's the way it was. There is no debate.

That aside. Pacquiao never was and probably still isn't an easy fight for anyone. He has a chance of winning but that eroded with time because the things that made him dangerous were more physical (speed, stamina and power, endurance). Power is the last to go, but the others will always wane and only adjusting your style with intelligence can make up for it.

People have to remember, Mayweather's not in his prime either, but being smarter in the ring has seen him 'wear' better.

We don't need to imagine that....After Pacquiao agreed with testing, Floyd came with the NO 50-50... 40 mills and no PPV revenue bull*****.

Amazing how easily you forget that detail.

Testing isn't that big a deal. It was simple blood testing. After agreeing to manny's requests, floyd requested something that in no way shape or form affected manny's abilty to fight.

Manny has only implemented testing for his upcoming fght with rios. Manny wanted 50/50 to agree to ped testing and floyd said no. If you have no problem with Manny refusing the ped testing you should be ok with this.

The $40 mil offer was much later. Terrible offer. But I've noticed fighters like floyd, canelo, kovalev and many others have taken a crappy deal to get a fight they truly want. So please don't act as if manny is too good to do the same thing.

It all depends on whose perspective you wish to see it from.

You're assuming Pacman breezes to an easy win against Rios.

If Rios happens to be a bit stronger against Manny and gives Manny trouble, the opinions would change.

                Just sayin'.

Took him years to agree tho. He didnt deserve even split after all that.

It wasn't like Floyd was asking him only to take the test. Floyd would've gotten poked for blood and would've been expected to pee in a cup as well.

And was the 40 mill NO ppv revenue a good offer? Honestly...
