I think Bernard Hopkins could make 160 more easily and better then Jr.

Bernard Hopkins fought at 160 for 20yrs. And considering that he lost his pro debut as a cruiserweight. I think I can confidently say at least half of those years he probably should habe een fighting as a light heavyweight. So its very possible that Jr can still make 60. But, he's gonna have to dedicate himself to staying in the gym between fights and not allowing himself to balloon to upwards of 200lbs to do so.

Hardly anyone fights in their natural weight nowadays. Off the top of my head, Floyd, BradleyM Rigondeaux, Bradley, Pac, JMM, and Martinez are the only elite guys fighting in somehwat of a natural division. A step below them Cotto and Broner comes to mind. Andre Ward won a gold medal as a light heavyweight and all these years later he's fighting at 68. And the guys I mentioned are only fighting in a natural class for financial reasons, and because they equiped to fight bigger guys. So its not like Jr is doing something that 95% of all other fighter aren't. He just gets blasted for it because he's a jerk and people don't like him.

JCC Jr lacks discipline. He might as well fight at 175 because he doesn't want to make sacrifices and work hard to stay at a lower weight class.

His power and all that won't be such a big deal to world class light heavyweights, either.

They should make the rematch at 160 - with a 50/50 split, and a penalty of $200,000 per lb over that limit.

Dude stop making excuses for a bum he is spoiled brat that has no respect for the sport. How the hell is he goin to make 168 let alone 160lbs. If he looked like a starving child just trying to make 173 which and was the third time they change the weight class 4 days before the fight who does that. Jr. Is done he can't even beat a guy that was way smaller than him. SMH making excuses for that chump.

I call BS (on article not quote). Junior won't ever make 160 again.

Also what kind of crap is it saying he will fight harder if he has a big fight. What a loser. Fight hard and prove yourself period.

If it's been that hard, for that long, and you rise to such a high weight....clearly you shouldn't be at MW.

He relies on bulleying smaller fighters.

I hope someone like GGG bulleyes him at 160, then he goes to SMW and gets bullied by a big SMW too.
