So who does he have to beat for you to be sold on him? Mayweather? Garcia's a solid fighter that can beat anyone on any given night. He's definitely a top guy.

No footwork despite his nickname of "swift". So-so speed. And he stands right there in front of you to be hit. He's a counter puncher who has had success by swinging with his opponent. He's willing to take one in order to give one and so far he's been able to give it better than his opponents. What I will give him credit for is a strong chin, heart, and the fact that he stays focused throughout the fight. He's not easily discouraged.

He almost reminds me of Tito Trinidad where if you're able to avoid his hook and box him, then you can easily beat him. A boxer like Floyd would have a field day with him. His win over Lucas was a great win as Danny proved almost everyone wrong including myself.
you don't know how he keeps winning because you don't really know much about the technical aspects of the sport. You're giddy about power and you post ad nauseum about contracts/deals that you know nothing about.

I guess the Whole jr Welter class must be horrible, because he's the Champ and he's beaten everyone worth beating in that class, and he is undefeated. As I recall Matthysse was supposed to kill him in the ring within 3 rds, and he was scared, and he would duck him, and his best bet was to run. He took Matthysse best shots and didnt buckle and he beat him standing right in-front of him, yet he is still doubted. But hey you know you've made it when you get the Mayweather treatment, "no matter who you beat, its not good enough."

He has a good chin, power, alot of heart, the will to win, and performs well under pressure. I never rated him before but he is a tough guy to beat

Damn homie.....I thought if Swift showed anything in the Lucas fight it was his GRANITE chin and exceptional footwork

A boxer like Floyd?!?...there's only one of them.....that's good news for everybody from 140-154.....Swift would beat ANY Floyd wannabe in the game....so what if Swift is easy food for Floyd.....Nelo was the same, Ghost, Ortiz, Marquez and many many others were as well....getting beat by Floyd, Pac or Marquez is not a knock on any fighter from 140-147 imo

He has nothing left to sell right now. He's the lineal champion at 140 and cleaned out the division through a mini-tournament. What else can he have possibly done that he hasn't already at this point in his career?

We always complain about the best not fighting the best and guys cherry picking paper titles, but when a fighter fights the best and becomes a REAL champion they're still not sold on him.

Ok, you're not sold, get in line. Swift is a winner.

People weren't sold on him before Khan. He showed he could punch.

                  What more does it take?

His movement was good in the Matthysse fight. Danny has a solid resume and is the 140 kingpin. What else does he have to do? If you're not sold on Danny, you could only be sold on a handful of fighters. From the first Morales fight to now, he has shown much improvement.

After what he did to Matthysse... I'm definitely sold.
