Solid list but I have Wladamir in the top 10 as I think every p4p list should.

Ward has an impressive run... He's been inactive a while but he cleaned out 168, which was a pretty deep division.
I'm not a huge fan of transferring all of a guy's accomplishments to another fighter just because the style matchup favored that fighter. Donaire is not an effective pressure fighter, and yet he was forced to push the fight because of fan expectations. This put him out of his comfort zone. Also I've made a thread about how the degree of the victory is exaggerated. Donaire put Rigo on his butt, and Rigo spent some rounds doing absolutely nothing. I had rigo winning, but not by as much as most. Is Rigo a great talent? Absolutely. But one great win and a great amateur pedigree doesn't show how that fighter can handle all different styles at a pro level. And it doesn't answer questions about their chin or heart at a pro level either. This elevating him to #3 in the sport is premature.
Oh, and I never had Donaire at three.. Highest I've had him is 5 I thinkComment

That one time against Ward you mean? who is rightfully rated higher than him.Comment

That's fair. But I think sometimes you have to use the eye test. The purpose of the list is to determine who the best fighter would be AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME if they were all the same size. This isn't a top 100 ATG list where your trying to determine who the greatest fighters are based on their body of work. Resume and level of competition is something to consider but you also have to look at how they look and how they have won recently.Ward has an impressive run... Over the past 3 years, Floyd has continued to dominate, Ward has continued to dominate and Rigo has the single best win of 2013 and did it in dominating fashion. Bradley bounced back and convincingly beat a top 3 pound for pound fighter in his last fight. I think the top 4 should be unanimous.
Pacquiao and Marquez are ATGs and HOFs but you can't rank them THAT high based off how they looked in their last fights. Going off those performances would they beat Floyd or Ward if they were the same size? Same thing applies to Martinez.
They dropped Hopkins one year because even though he continued to win, he didn't look impressive doing so. Same thing with Pernell Whitaker after the Hurtado fight.Comment

I can roll with the eye test argument to a point, but without depth of resume to compare how that fighter would handle different styles and adversity, the eye test can be decieving. That's fair. Also, its funny to me how donaire dropped completely off of people's lists, yet rigo sustains #3 off of such a great win. If Donaire is such a great win, then why did he drop so far? If anything he should be right under wherever rigondeaux is ranked.
Also, peopleks reverence for a great win seems to be selective. Gonzalez had a great win over Mares, yet I don't see Gonzalez replacing Mares's spot that was on many people's lists. In fact BOTH are off most people's list.
I am begrudgingly ok with Rigo at #4 or #5, because I have been constantly immersed with the idea by nsb and max kellerman, but Bradley deserves #3 over Rigo because he has asnwered more questions about his heart and chin, and how he would face a myriad of different styles.Comment

He is a complete fighter and has everything you just named but I don't see how he can be considered the best fighter around that divison since Lopez considering how little he has done thus far.
I see potential but surely you have to earn it first.Comment
