“Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz wasn’t impressed with Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley’s split decision win over Juan Manuel Marquez at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas - and has effectively devalued Bradley.
Koncz, on instructions of Pacquiao, offered Bradley $6 million for a rematch and offered Marquez $13 million for a fifth fight, both of which were turned down as they decided to face-off against each other for much less money, told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard he personally thought “it was a very boring fight.”
He argued that “as we expected, Bradley did not show anything that warrants anything more than a $5 million purse” which effectively means that he has devalued Bradley’s worthiness as an attractive opponent for Pacquiao despite the fact that he beat Marquez who had scored a crushing 6th round knockout over Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Garden Arena last December 8.
