I doubt it's Guerrero. Its got to be a fight were the winner becomes a credible opponent for Mayweather. If Ghost were to beat Khan that would leave Mayweather with no bankable opponents for May (Alexander has no fan base and no one wants a Ghost rematch.)
Its most likely a Garcia rematch in late January.

It's going to be Garcia and the fight will take place in December or January which will give the winner enough time to heal and get ready for the May fight with Floyd. Having a Khan vs. Garcia rematch will give Golden Boy to market this fight as the Floyd Sweepstakes and give the winner a ton of momentum and marketability heading into May. Neither Garcia nor Khan are credible nor deserving right now, but the winner of that fight will be credible. And Floyd will get the Mexican Market with Garcia or the British market with Khan. Have Canelo fight Ortiz at 154 on the undercard and then you'll have a 1.5 million PPV card, imo.

Its not Floyd. Its clearly someone soon. Floyd would never announce a fight this early goes against everything we know about him. And no way is amir khan announcing a fight before Floyd.

Garcia is Puerto Rican, Mexicans hate Puerto Ricans when it comes to boxing.

Thanks for the correction. I think Canelo is their guy to grab the Mexican Market. If Ortiz wins coming up, he'd be a great opponent for Canelo at 154. Have the fight in LA as the co headliner.

Canelo would be foolish to not ride ******* on Floyd's PPV's. It makes sense for everyone. Canelo knows Floyd is the bigger PPV draw and better fighter, so why not ride ******* and go into business with Floyd as the co-headliner and bring in all of the Mexicans on the two Mexican dates Floyd always takes?

Money talks and I'm guessing, unless Canelo is fighting Cotto, or Chavez Jr. or Sergio, his options for a big pay day are pretty limited, imo. Part of Canelo's draw was his potential to fight and beat Floyd. That is gone now, so now what?

unless berto left hunter and i missed it completely they are both with the same trainer, making it quite unlikely. also as flawed as he is berto would decapitate khan, not smart move from his part. then again there arent many smart moves for him to make.

mayweather isnt happening next and there arent too many good fighters khan can beat imo to get that fight. i think he will fight garcia again who will knock him out and fight floyd in may himself.
