No offence but the people who can't decipher any difference between the miguel that fought rodriguez and the miguel of recent years on the basis that it was ' only rodriguez ' really dont know what they're looking at. Admittedly the amount to be be deduced is relatively limited in that rodriguez was limited in what he could test miguel with, but you don't need an upper echelon opponent to be able to determine form, sharpness, confidence and so on. There was a spring in Cotto's step that hadn't been there since pre margarito 1, and I don't have to rely on who his opponent was to know this was infact THE VERY BEST he's looked since that particular time. I'm sorry anyone who can't determine the difference on account of who he was fighting really doesn't know what they're looking at.
Could Martinez become Cotto's signature win?
