Every fighter who's beaten is not overrated.

Fighters lose sometimes. My example is Mattysse. Yes he lost to Danny. (his 1st clear loss). However, if you call him overrated now, you diminish Danny's win. I still won't pick any other jr welterweight against Lucas right now.

Same goes for many other fighters. Just because they lose, that doesn't make them overrated.

Then we have fighters like Amir Khan who still keep getting fantasy victories when they are clearly overrated. That's an overrated fighter. Broner too. Who the hell has he beaten to be called elite and put above Mattysse or any other proven fighter??

Just cause they're forcing him into a headlining ppv slot doesn't mean this guy is some elite fighter. His so called defense is a damn myth. Broner does nothing but stand in the pocket and out**** smaller fighters.

Very true. Just cause Mares lost that doesn't mean he's a hypejob. Same with Canelo and several others. People on here are crazy and call say everyone got "exposed" when they lose. Not everyone is gonna go 45-0. But people here don't understand that. Most just come on here to talk **** about fighters, not talk about boxing.

If you are supposed to brutally KO you in one, and you get schooled, you might be overrated. That does not mean they are bad, or a lower level fighter, just overrated.

And as for Mares, If you take a tune up and are supposedly top5 p4p and gets KO'ed in one by said tune up, that is a hypeejob, sure he can come back and win, but no top tier fighter should lose like that.

        That logic is hideous.

So, does the fact that Lucas is now overrated in your estimation, mean that Danny is overrated too because he just beat an overrated boxer?

Boxing fans are so ****ing ******...Just because you lose or have a close fight doesn't mean you are a "Hypejob".

I've seen people call Canelo a hypejob because he lost to Mayweather.

          Jeff Lacy is a hypejob.

Seriously 90% of the posters on this forum are ******ed.

            Too much emphasis on losses.

I also agree that Broner is grossly overrated. Last night HBO had him "in the welterweight picture". Are they serious?? His one fight at 147 was a crappy performance against a very faded Malagnaggi. I'll never understand why Broner is so highly regarded. Its a joke.

I just saw a thread saying JMM is overrated and always has been...If you can't realize how great JMM is,then you do not ever need to watch a boxing match again.

That thread is correct he piggybacked off Pacquiao's name and showed no appreciation for all of the rematches he received. Such a bitter little turd, one dimensional. Spent nearly a decade obsessing over Pacquiao and studying meticulously to beat him lmao. Him and his fans are the most whiny crybabies in the sport, every time he loses they claim he was robbed. The guy has the audacity to claim he was robbed 6 times. SMH. Hopefully he retires, he's no ATG.

Nope, he was supposed to lose horribly and he won impressively, that would be him being underrated

Canelo was a horrible hype job, any unbiased fan knew that.
Acting like he is going to KO Mayweather and is the new face of the sport.
I don't know how you can say he isn't a hype job.
