      Rigo.

He's already the best amateur of all time and a 2 time Olympic Gold medal winner but a feat like that would put him on the track to an ATG career.

          Amateur Records:

          Lomachenko: +400-1

          Rigondeux: -400-12

Obviously Loma is the better amateur

In the pros it took Rigo 9 fights to become a champion against a mediocre champ like Rico Ramos. Loma might do it in 2 against Salido (who could rival Rigo's biggest win)

Of course it's still early but who do you think will be greater when it's all said and done?
Rigo was better amateur, loma is going to be better amateur

jesus chris, this thread! One guy owned a top 3 boxer, the other just debuted...DUCKING!

No, Salido would not rival Rigo owning Donaire.

Rigo also was an amateur in Cuba; probably the hardest place to be an amateur in.

And Rigo is also old. If he was 25 years old I could see the case for asking him to move up in weight. But we're already seeing Rigo at his highest. Asking him to go up to 126 and face dudes like Mikey who walk at 140s is not boxing. Rigo is actually 100% WEIGHT CLASS LEGIT.

Rigo is the best talent in boxing outside of floyd, and it's close. I don't have to be Cuban to love el Chacal.

              Great post. Green K.

I would've highlighted a few things, but every word is on point.

you forgot that Vasya moved down from lightweight to fethearweight already. he looked drained for the fight. so Cubans expect him to drop another 3 kgs so he looks like skeleton to fight Rigo. I'm sure this fight will happen, not sure at what weight though

Right...I doubt Rigondeaux would duck anyone.

If bob pushed Rigo to a title fight in his second fight he could have won it. But bob is desperate and needs a new face of top rank. Rigo will treat him like the rest but Loma is good. He's not gonna beat p4p talent in 3 fight
