You can tell that all of these posters have never competed for anything in their entire life. It was a close fight, of course JMM is gonna feel he won the fight, regardless, what is he suppose to say, "Bradley schooled me"?

"I felt I won the fight" would suffice. "I got robbed for the millionth time" is absurd.

Apparently you subscribe to the theory that it's impossible to be a sore loser, because Marquez couldn't have done much more to be a sore loser than he did. If you don't think that's enough, fine.

JMM looks ordinary without those power pellets,,,,he was afraid of being caught by extra testing requested by tim.....same results as Floyd fight...he was schooled and outworked by a more skilled fighter....

Perhaps you're correct, the idealistic notion of "sportsmanship" isn't one I particularly subscribe to. I'll admit I'm also a huge Marquez fan (like Tim as well) and this loss really stings.

It was close. Just rewatched it. Marquez made a case for himself. Bradley was all over the place using his superior athleticism to control distance and looked busy but Marquez by no means got blown away. Appearances were in Bradley's favor but I think some people will be surprised when they closely rescore it.

I watched it again and I agree with you in a way. There are rounds that could be scored for either fighter. At least there was a judge that had it for Marquez.

the score of 116-112 in favor of JMM was a daylight robbery....JMM was being schooled all night and still win in one scorecard by a wide margin was a total robbery.....

Why is anybody surprised by Marquez’ incessant whining? After all, it’s been his MO for his entire boxing career. When Morales and Barrera were the stars of Mexican boxing, Marquez was an unrelenting crybaby about being underappreciated by his own countrymen.

Mexico has a long history of amazing champions with fans appreciating aggressive action fighters that have “huevos” and bring the action. JMM’s counter-punching style is counter to this heritage, which is why he was predominately ignored during the Morales/Barrera era. By the time the 1st Pac/JMM fight rolled around, Pacquiao had already been labeled the “mexecutioner.” Mexican fan’s needed to rally around somebody – anybody that could put up a good fight against the typhoon from the Philippines. This is the ONLY reason why Marquez has a fan base.

Marquez will never be a Morales, Barrera, and certainly not even in the same league as Chavez. The fact that he even brings his own name into contention in the 2nd installment of 24/7 demonstrates the level of narcissism that JMM has cultivated.

JMM will whine about this loss, as he does with most every loss. Yes, it’s great to win, but knowing how to loose gracefully is a true test of a man’s character; of which JMM has none.

Instead of taking Yoga, Marquez needs to take a 101 class is sportsmanship followed by a 102 class in human etiquette. I feel sorry for the son that he is raising. He seems like a bright kid, but the apple never falls that far from the tree. So when the kid goes off the college and get’s a bad grade on a crap essay, you already know he’ll start whining like the old man. It’s a learned behavior!

There are 2 types of people in this world. Those that make excuses for everything that is wrong in life – this extends to finances, marriage, careers, and obviously sports. And those that are accountable for their success and failures. We already know which one Marquez is. Which one are you?

Bradley won the fight. Marquez needs to show some class and grace in defeat.

I swear to god, if you scored that fight for Tim you should probably be shot. What a joke, after each round I was pulling my hair out over the announcers.

The fight was easy to score and the proper score was 8-4 JMM. Clear as fcuking day.

i was rooting for marquez, but there's no way marquez won most of the rounds

he was outworked, and wasn't landing the cleaner shots by any stretch
