Comments Thread For: Peter Quillin: I Would Win and Retire Sergio Martinez

Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin has definitely made a name for himself in the middleweight division as he’s managed to remained undefeated and captured his first world title last year in front of his hometown. After two dominate performances since, Quillin is looking to cap of 2013 with his second title defense against the always tough Gabriel Rosado on October 26th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.

What many are now anxious to see is Quillin mix it up with the other champions in the division and begin to unify the titles. With Kid Chocolate now being one of the major players at middleweight, BoxingScene asked him how he ranked himself with the other three reigning champions.

“I'm going to say I'm right behind Sergio Martinez because he has the credit that everyone is chasing. And once you have everybody trying to chase that guy, then that's the guy. So it's Sergio Martinez and me number two because I'm an animal” Quillin would tell BoxingScene. [Click Here To Read More]

Peter Quillin is the most over rated champion out there at the moment. An old, beat up Sergio would still knock Quillin out.

Quillen is my dog but he better stop with the shift talking cause Martinez would beat the **** out of him. His style is perfect for Martinez to feast on. Too bad Fraud Gayweather still don't want to dance with Sergio smh.

A year ago, Sergio would've been an easy pick. Now, I might give "Maravilla" the edge, but I wouldn't be so confident about it.

I think any fighter can beat Martinez, he is done for.

That's how I feel, Cotto is a different story because he isn't really that big and it'd be the strongest puncher he's ever faced. So that's an intriguing match up but regardless Martinez is done.

Yo - 1st off Martinez had multiple injuries for his last fight against a legit middle weight. Quillen never even brings up GGG's name. I think this is why they chose rosado so he can compare his performance to ggg. Martinez is getting good rest to heal - I think he is going to give one last good run 2 more fights to make some good $. Some one on here called mayweather - fraud gayweather - sad, that you are blinded by your own hate! No. One on this planet trains harder than (fraud gayweather) this is why he is still on top of his game - that people have to create opponents - sergio walks around at 170 / 180 floyd oops I mean fraud walks around at 155 might be a pound or 2 less. But he is fraud gayweather - you gotta have style and learn to be original then everybody's gonna want to diss you - like me we stood up for the south bronx and every sucka poster had a response you think I care, I know they are on the tip ...............but like a champ I have got a record of knocking out the frauds in a second -
