By all accounts, he seems like a decent referee who will enforce the rules. He is not the typical referee who is known for either over officiating bouts or for allowing fighters to break the rules by not enforcing them; Unlike so many other referees in the sport. He is stern and reminds me a lot of referee Eddie Cotton; A ref who is known for being strict in enforcing the rules and deducting points, which was evident in his disqualification of Andrew Golota for excessive low blows, in his rematch with Rid**** Bowe.
