Arum is just mentioning Rigondeaux so that Lomachenko's name will be associated with him and bring more recognition.

I doubt this fight will ever happen.

Rigondeaux does not have a large following.

He is a great boxer and gained my utmost respect after surviving a knockdown and soundly beating Donaire, but mentioning him is nothing like mentioning Mayweather, etc.

I give this kid credit for wanting to step up and fight Rigo right away. I think Rigo is one of the best technical boxers in the world along side Mayweather. Rigo is gonna batter this kid. The kid is great and will aquire titles in his career but he is not ready for Rigo but then again who is?

Rigo was at 125.5 in his 4th pro fight. I would love to see this happen at featherweight's normal limit. Rigo is too good for catchweights.

Bob is trying to rob Rigo on the cards before Rigo dips out. He had tried it before already.

Didn't turn out the way many felt. Rigo, who weighed in at the same weight class as Loma on his debut declined the fight at that same weight for $500k or more and then accepted it at 130 for $400k. People still said size doesn't matter Rigo will still dominate and then boom. Didn't even win 5 seconds of the fight and quit with a whimper at 60-53.
