Fat Dan reports that Khan declined the Alexander fight. The plan is to make Garcia-Khan in early 2014 and the winner gets Floyd in May. Team Khan declined Alexander cause even if he would beat him he wouldnt have been seen as a legit thread to Floyd and the fight wouldnt sell PPVs. If Khan goes on and beats somehow Garcia, he is in a perfect position to fight Floyd. Khan has his revenge and nobody cares about that loss against Pederson. If Garcia beats Khan again after beating Judah and the Machine, he proves that he is the man and the biggest thread to Floyd and Showtime will have plenty of story to hype him up and sell the fight.

Nah **** that. Danny has first dibs on the floyd fight he's earned it. Ask yourself this question, if khan would of stopped danny in the 4th round would he have gave danny a rematch? The answer is hell no he wouldnt khan is an ego maniac. Danny should tell him to **** off.

Khan was the favorite going in. He got upset so of course a rematch makes sense.

First fight was a good one too. Why not see it again?

Danny could use some more seasoning and exposure too. I see it as a win/win all around.

Khan beats Garcia until he gets caught. He will need the performance of his life to beat Garcia and to be honest I don't believe Khan is anywhere near as good as he was 2 years ago. Too many wars and a leaky defence weaken an already fragile chin. Khan could put up a decent fight against Mayweather or Alexander but against the power punchers he is going to get caught at some point.

Props to Khan if he fights Garcia again but I can't see him avoiding Garcia's shots for the full 12.

For Danny it's not about proving anything except for maybe saying "See the first time wasn't a fluke". As I said, for Danny it's more about beating a guy who he already beat and that is all he has to do to make him win the prize called "a fight with Floyd"...... so it's a win win situation for him.

Khan v Garcia in Jan/Feb?? With a Mayweather fight in May? Hell no, that is NOT happening. Say the fight happens in mid-to-late Jan at the earliest, that leaves somewhere between 3-4 months to make the Floyd fight and didn't TMT once say that it takes 6 months to promote a fight properly? LOL
