Fat Dan reports that Khan declined the Alexander fight. The plan is to make Garcia-Khan in early 2014 and the winner gets Floyd in May. Team Khan declined Alexander cause even if he would beat him he wouldnt have been seen as a legit thread to Floyd and the fight wouldnt sell PPVs. If Khan goes on and beats somehow Garcia, he is in a perfect position to fight Floyd. Khan has his revenge and nobody cares about that loss against Pederson. If Garcia beats Khan again after beating Judah and the Machine, he proves that he is the man and the biggest thread to Floyd and Showtime will have plenty of story to hype him up and sell the fight.

If Khan would have knocked Danny out he would never give him a rematch. I know the word hype get tossed around here a lot but I just don't get the level of respect this guy Khan gets. He almost geta stopped or does get stopped in most of his fights and people want to see him fight Floyd. Just an honest question what has he really done to deserve a fight with the best in the sport. Alexander was a much more winnable fight for AK imho.....I knew the rematch was coming sometime next year though so I won't be surprised if this is true!!

I just hope AK doesn't get stopped again....I rock with BOTH fighters HEAVY!!!!....just like the first fight....I got the neutral corner for this!!....I wish them both well....their styles mix well together so a FOTY type of war is always possible with those 2 warriors
