Does a Prime Mike Tyson beat a Prime Lennox Lewis?

I agree....50/50 fight. It really would boil down to if Tyson could get inside and catch Lewis within the first 5 rounds. I do think Lewis bests Tyson probably at least 6-7 times out of 10.Comment

Lewis is a problem for virtually any HW in history. Real talk.Comment

Would Foreman be quick enough to get inside on Lewis though? He fought heavy footed and he wasn't very fast. He didn't have a lot of head movement either. Foreman would be open for Lewis' 1,2s and George had a legendary chin, but he wouldn't walk through Lewis.

I love Lennox, but prime Mike would've broke Lennox in half. On his game, he would've leveled Lennox like a building being knocked down. Mike's speed would've been the difference.
You can point to Buster because that is the only legit loss that Mike has in my eyes, but I'll go to McCall for Lennox. We can keep Rahman and Holyfield out of this because either one wasn't in shape or the other wasn't the same post prison.Comment

What are your thoughts on this?
A prime Mike Tyson was able to utilize his incredible quickness to get inside and damage the biggest of opponents.
A prime Lennox Lewis was arguably the greatest SUPER Heavyweight in terms of being able to fight tall. Post Steward, Lewis was a master of controlling distance, utilizing a great jab and one of the best 1,2s the sport has seen. He dropped that right hand down on shorter opponents so beautifully. Also, Lewis knew how to throw the upper cut. The biggest question mark would be if Lewis could take Tyson's power.

I think that King was correct and should have had the decision reversed to at least an NC. Also, I wonder why . Tyson's corner didn't have an endswell??The whole thing was more like a holiday jaunt for the Tyson hangers-on and a makeshift, just thrown together at the last minute, corner team. Of course Tyson was a 42.5 odds on favourite to win....... I've always wondered if any huge amount of gamblers' money was suddenly placed on Douglas in the last 10 minutes before the fight......Comment
