There are some circumstances where I don't feel its quite as bad but when you have little *****es like that Jose Gonzalez kid who only had to stay on his feet for a couple of rounds, he was taking no punishment and was on the verge of becoming a world champion and reaping huge paydays in the future and he flat out quit from a broken finger or something equally as petty, he deserves to get stick.

Pain is temporary, pride is forever.

      he quit against Pacquiao too.

watch the fight how he keeps looking over at his corner as he does laps around the ring. Then tell's his corner they did the right thing in stopping it

There's no doubt in my mind that the vast majority of the people on here that use the term "quitter" have never successfully competed in anything in their lives, much less in a combat sport. And those that throw the word "coward" around probably haven't had a fight with a strange adult male in their lives, in the ring or out.

I understand what you mean, but just being that this is a very unforgiving sport I do not hold it against him, I def think he could have continued but he just didn't have that hunger like other guys.

Any legit fighter that laces em up and gets in there deserve our praise. Boxing is as close to death an experience as any sport a professional athlete will ever engage in.
You gotta figure plenty of those guys aren't very bright to begin with, desperately put their life on the line to earn peanuts.. the true "cowards" will literally do whatever it takes to even the playing field. Load their gloves, get juiced, sucker punch you or even bite your ear off when your guard is down. Did I mention loading their gloves? Realizing the dangers of a sport that's left it's participants handicapped or worse and marching ahead anyways is truly commendable. Respect.

The definition of coward or quitter could easily be documented with film by simply gloving up the forum **** talkers and throwing them each in, one at a time, against a man with some skills in the ring. Record the events and send it to the funny video shows, you could make some cash matching the quiting, retirement or cowardess of 99.9% of the forum fools who talk too much **** with their big words yet cowardly exhibition of just how much of a ***** a man can be. easily 99.9%, and the .1 percent that did survive will have sustained considerable beatings....... are we counting pre quits?

                      Mayweather quit against Margarito, Pacuquaio.

                      he admitted it himself./
