Prime Marquez couldn't beat Norwood. Why would past prime Marquez beat Bradley?

    Couldn't have been said better.

I thought Marquez was robbed in the Norwood fight and he was the clear winner. Norwood was a good fighter at that time and a very dirty fighter. Marquez has more experience now and he is bigger. Marquez may still be prime even at 40. Let's put it this way. Marquez just KOed Pacquiao and most fans and experts had Pacquiao a clear winner over Bradley. Bradley was lucky to beat an unranked fighter in his last fight. These are some of the reasons Marquez is a slight betting favorite to defeat Bradley. If you don't agree then bet on Bradley and get some good odds. It's a close fight but I'll go with the more proven old pro.

          Marquez gets butt hurt easily.

I remember when he refused to fight Naseem Hamed b/c he felt Naseem ducked him back in the day (I believe JMM was the #1 contender for the wbo for like two years and naz wouldn't fight him).

Now he won't give Pac a rematch after he finally got a W over Pac.

JMM is the saltiest lil boxer I've ever seen.

I know what your trying to say but..

              A) Freddie Norwood and Tim Bradley fight nothing alike

              B) I don't know if you'd call that version of Marquez his prime, he's an old school type fighter that's learned a lot from some of his defeats (Even the questionable Chris John decision)

              C) The 26 year old Marquez that fought Norwood was more of a pure counterpuncher who didn't go on the attack as much as he did in his 30's to now..

I still slightly favour Bradley because styles makes fights, same feeling I got when Cotto vs Trout was announced, but I'm not completely ruling out Marquez because he's a ring genius and the best combination puncher of the modern age!

What are you on about? Marquez tried to get the Nas fight years ago, but after the Barerra fight Nas fought once more then retired!! There was never discussions on him fighting Marquez, and I can guarantee he would have fought him if there was as Marquez was looking for a payday and Nas, as much as I dislike the guy was a cash cow!!

Remember these are the same idiots that think that Bradley is suddenly this slick ass Adrian Brohner/Floyd Jr fighter. Why do they think that? Because he's black LOL! It's funny because when Bradley fought Pac these same people said Bradley wasn't slick enough. Now against Marquez hes a defensive mastermind LOL he's now the Black Willie Pep hahahahahaha!
