I didn't hear these one eyed excuses for Andre Berto when Guerrero happened to close his eye with a strangely punch. Haha.

That's becuz Berto was getting his ass kicked before his eyes swelled...He got dropped in the first round twice

Prior to the eye swelling the fight was no less than even, if Matthysse wasn't winning... It clearly made a difference

        Anymore brain buster, raheem?

If you had told me 3 years ago that Danny Garcia would still be undefeated in 2015 and told me the fights that would occur in between- I would have laughed in your face.

          ...And been super wrong.

Seriously though, I can't believe he hasn't taken an L yet. He was supposed to be fish food for Amir Khan years ago. I do wish Lucas could get a rematch but I also can't picture Garcia EVER wanting to fight Matthysse after picking up that W.

Why haven't we seen Garcia fight any of the big names down there between 140-147? I figured he could have made a big fight after being on the Floyd/Canelo card.

That Matthysse win was a legit win, I'm not dis*****g that at all. The best win of Garcia's career outside of exposing Khan. I was shocked after watching it.

DSG was in my pound for pound top 10 after this, it's crazy how his career has gone downhill. I don't know if he's lost passion or he just can't handle being the favourite. If the rematch ever happens, all my points on Matthysse.

I can't believe how quickly and how far Garcia has fallen since. Herrera totally shook his management, and I hope Peterson didn't do the same.

You're right. Peterson did some really good work against Danny and had he started a faster, he would have won that fight. Really enjoyed Danny's win over Matthysse. But I mean, since then it's just been blah.

I expected it, but so many people used a Garcia>Matthysse>Peterson triangle theory to assume Garcia must be way too good for Peterson. Lamont's a genuinely good fighter who ran into a terrible style match-up with Lucas.

Danny may not be elite, but he's pretty good. Don't hide him, he'll beat other good fighters more often than not.

Because the eye began to swell in that round, does NOT imply 100% that the FRACTURED eye orbit, had occured in THAT particular exchange.

                      Yeah, they are still bittter.
