If Hopkins had looked to fight Wright instead of Taylor (at the time of their 1st fight) it would have looked like he was avoiding Taylor, who was a real thread, and the #2 Middleweight.

Wright hadn't even fought at middleweight at that point.

i think u guys forget that winky was the light middle champ who was still fighting and dealing wiht his business like mosley n' crew while hopkins was dealing with his **** at middle, two champs who really were busy with there own stuff to really think about fighting eachother

Taylor is a middle weight and Winky came from the lower division so I don't think it's right to say Bhops ducked him.

If Winky went up in weight a lot earllier this fight could have happen.
