Give them their rights. I am not intolerant. But Cruz, for instance is politicizing the whole deal, and stirring the pot of controversy for monetary gain. Nothing noble about it in the slightest. I got on Guerrerro for politicizing his religion as well, if you check.
Like I said, I don't go persecuting anyone. I am merely sharing my opinion on a message forum.
I don't see you dedicating nearly as much energy to black rights or women's lib. On this forum alone, you have hillbillies that found a keyboard under a rock in their backyard or something posting racist or quasi racist **** on the daily, and I don't see you or Russian going on crusades against THEM. So, the imbalance of attention screams personal stake, yes.
And sure, married fathers have gone gay. But I'm sure if were were to look at statistics, less married fathers have gone gay than people that are obsessed with being pc and "open minded"
lol, like I said, I'm not a biggot. I'm not even a ****phobe. I tried having a gay friend and he was too trifling, I explained that earlier. Also I think its wrong how gays try to push their ideas and their standards on our children and even our women. That's MY personal stake. What's yours.?
Also, because you had one gay friend who was triffling you made a judgment on that? Very generalizing if you ask me...
I think I've seen some posts from you in the past that invalidate you. If not, my apologies in advance.
Like I said, I used to be ****phobic as a child and into my adult life, but no more. Years ago I decided to seek the truth in all things, ****sexuality was one of those things that I learned about, religion was another.
I don't have any personal stake in this subject, none.Comment

Bro it's not about disrespect, it's about opening your mind and seeing things in a different way.
My flag is important to me as well, I just can't be so arrogant to think that I have the monopoly of what it should represent.
Does Mexico only represent brown skinned Mexicans? No, it represents white skinned one's too with red hair like Canelo. It also represents gays people, tall people, short people etc.
My point is that with Cruz putting the flag in that way, it's not a disrespect, it's actually a show of pride he has in being Puerto Rican.
I mean I have seen Puerto Rican girls with the PR flag sown into the back of their jeans on their asses.... I mean, they are SITTING on the flag and it's close to where they **** out of...LOL
We can't pick and choose what we see as disrespect. He's not burning it, throwing it on the ground, or drawing some obscene things on it. He's just reppin it and saying "I'm a proud gay puerto rican man"
Gay people aren't second-caste citizens and shouldn't be shamed because they won't hide their sexuality from strait people ("why won't he be gay in private? stop cramming it down my throat!")
He is proud of being Puerto Rican and proud of being gay. He's a minority in two ways and not ashamed to say he is either. He is rocking the rainbow for the same reason he's rocking the PR flag.
I don't see any of you guys attacking him for disrespecting the gay flag for putting the PR flag on it. And I don't see anyone attacking him for representing Puerto Rico.
Saying he's "politicizing being gay for monetary gain" is some Alex Jones ****.Comment

If it is, it isn't to as many people. Issues of the Divine aside, religion serves as a moral structure. Even atheists can appreciate the validity and need for that.

Religion starts wars. id say its much more polarizing.
Im not sure he is politicizing anything. Merely combining two things he is proud of.
Your opinion is quite cynical to say the least. Why do you believe his only reason for wearing those shorts is for monetary gain? Why dismiss the idea he is doing it for a cause?
Just look at the prejudice on these boards and in this very thread. Its obvious gay rights are something which needs massive promotion.Comment

Yeah it's getting crazy.
If this trend continues members will start having pictures of themselves hugging other men, even lifting up shirtless men on their shoulders to pose for pictures...Comment
