What you fail to see is that by bringing attention to it, people become educated. It's important for people to stand up against things that are wrong. So Cruz isn't brigning attention to himself just because he wants to make money, he is using his pseudo celebrity to promote a topic that is important to him.

I don't see you dedicating nearly as much energy to black rights or women's lib. On this forum alone, you have hillbillies that found a keyboard under a rock in their backyard or something posting racist or quasi racist **** on the daily, and I don't see you or Russian going on crusades against THEM. So, the imbalance of attention screams personal stake, yes.

Then you haven't read a lot of my posts. The main reason I don't deal in racism is because it's snuffed out in this place by the mods much faster than anti gay stuff. For some reason calling someone a ni66er is taboo but calling someone a fa6 is ok here. So I pick and chose my battles for those that need it.

And sure, married fathers have gone gay. But I'm sure if were were to look at statistics, less married fathers have gone gay than people that are obsessed with being pc and "open minded"

He is proud of being Puerto Rican and proud of being gay. He's a minority in two ways and not ashamed to say he is either. He is rocking the rainbow for the same reason he's rocking the PR flag.

I don't see any of you guys attacking him for disrespecting the gay flag for putting the PR flag on it. And I don't see anyone attacking him for representing Puerto Rico.
