Even this Toney would be a step up for Wilder

For some reason I don't see Toney getting sparked out like that. All that I'm saying is that he can at least have a name under his belt. His comp hasn't been the best as of yet and doesn't look like he will be stepping up soon. Plus Toney is willing to do it. I'm not making it out to look like some type of PPV FOTY bout.

I think Toney beats him, would bet all of my meager points on it.

But it isn't that bad of an idea from Wilder's camp. Wilder needs rounds, and Toney has an ATG chin and as this thread shows many don't think he poses a threat. Wilder gets rounds under his belt against a slick defensive fighter who isn't going to get blasted inside of 3 rounds.

Have you seen Toney lately? He's beyond done. He's a level past shot. He can't even move. Wilder would obliterate him. Wouldn't get rounds, wouldn't struggle, and would only make us all depressed afterwards.
