Anyway. End of the day what's done is done. But let's be real

Margs record after he's got caught .. 1-3? Retired..

And if it wasn't for Arum, Margarito would've been behind bars or perm banned. Arum didn't want a potential cash cow tobe banned at the time. Margarita is ****ing lucky he got a slap on the wrist with the year ban, very lucky.
How many fighters have a winning record in their last two years in the sport?

Mosley, since the Margarito fight, is 1-3-1.
Ricardo Mayorga is 1-2 in his last three fights.
Oscar De la Hoya is 1-2 in his last three fights.
Fernando Vargas, 0-3 in his last three fights.
Felix Trinidad, 1-2 in his last three fights.
Winky Wright, 1-2 in his last three fights.

So what exactly is your point again? That fighters who have a career longer than a decade tend to fade out in their last few years?

      Who knew?

He was suspended in the Cotto fight?

I am not aware of that.

he got caught in the Mosley fight. using illegal material inside his gloves. He was suspended and so was his trainer Capetillo.

Unless the California State Athletic Comission decided for no reason to get one of out the sport's newest and biggest draws suspended, he cheated.

Alot of people say Margarito starting using plaster back in 2005 after he was schooled by Daniel Santos and used it right up till he was caught after fighting Cotto the first time. It would explain the winning streak and how it ended suddenly once he was caught. He wasn't the same without it.

There isn't any hard proof that Margarito cheated in the first fight against Cotto, but he lost the right to the benefit of the doubt when he was caught trying to cheat against Mosley in the very next fight. As someone else has already said, it doesn't make a great deal of sense that Margarito would be clean against Cotto, a prime undefeated fighter he is the underdog against, then plaster-wrapped against Mosley, an aging fighter supposedly on the decline he is supposed to be beat. It's also rare that a cheat is caught the very first time they cheat, what are the odds in this case?

We'll never know for sure, but I believe Margarito had loaded wraps in the first Cotto fight, but I'll never treat it as fact. What is a fact is that Margarito is a cheat, with disregard for the health of his fellow professionals - those wraps could have been the difference between life and death.
