Well said senior, I like Cotto but they are setting him up for a Martinez beat down to kill a competitive Cotto verses Canelo fight. And shame on the uneducated blogger that actually compared Delvin to Canelo. Wow some of you cats really can't assess boxing talent.

That's besides the point & thats your bias opinion...if Floyd fights a 147lb ESPN fighter he would stop them! Like I said, be happy for Cotto but apply the same rules across the board for every top fighter...the thought of Floyd fighting Amir Khan makes you guys mad but people are praising the stoppage of a ESPN fighter.Comment

Its great to see Cotto back in the picture but it was Jennings Gomez stuff and people need to keep their hats on .Comment

Yea he did. Floyd was overtrained when he fought Cotto. Floyd Sr is the one who changed that on the first day of camp for Ghost. He told Floyd he was doing too much, and he needed to train less so he could let his body rest more, since he was quote unquote "36 not 26" Floyd Jr was oblivious to the idea of overtraining until his father came in. Floyd Jr thought he was aging and losing his skills at first.Comment

Nah, Sr knows what he is saying. Rodriguez is a c class opponent, Cotto was once truly elite, even past his best he is A-, Cotto could have gone into that fight at 2 weeks noticed and taken Rodriguez out. That's what great fighters do to less than stellar opposition.Comment

That is a fact, he was loading his punches and exposing himself a lot! You can't do that against Floyd! He might get away with some stuff on the inside with Sergio which is exactly what he will need to do if they fight! Make it brutal inside fight and try to wear down Sergio while not fading himself! Easier said than done! Sergio's chin is "shakable" so Cotto has a chance!Comment

I really don't see different outcome if Cotto were to fight Money May again. First fight was 9 rounds to 3 for Mayweather, no real purpose to see the same thing happen again.Comment
