This is a very weak argument. If the controversy is being perpetrated by a specific group of people (pac fans) then it's does not indicate a legitimate disagreement about the fight.

There is not much controversial about a KO like that other than certain fans wont accept it.

Well yes, you're right, there can be bias that leads to what some may see as 'irrelevant' controversy, but again, regardless of where the disagreement comes from that is still controversy, which is exactly the definition, which I said it was... so the point is what? I accept the KO and the outcome, why is the definition of the word being ignored?

I think people are a bit too focused on the KO, they're forgetting events that transpired before the KO, they add to some level of controversy, at least in my opinion.

I clearly remember both camps saying no matter what happens in the 4th fight that there will not be a fifth fight! Now you hear all the dumb s**t Roach be saying like, Marquez scared, grow some balls, we want a rematch ect.ect. Roach grimy ass just trying to get paid. As JMM said in the Bradley 24/7, he knows pacman well, so he knew that after he feints like he did before that punch he then launches forward like that, so he was waiting for it so he could counterpunch him like he did. Therefore, that was a punch that was studied, prepared and executed perfectly by the great JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ. Knowing your opponent's tendencies and how he moves so you can capitalize on it and counterpunch him is as part of boxing as wearing gloves.

When JMM wins big against Pac, I have big respect to him! That respect should forever if JMM retired right after that fight for reason of his age, and no one could question him. But if he chose to be active and he refuse fighting Pac for 5th time for reason he was satisfied with his big win, is simply cheap word! Win is good but another big win will top then all but JMM apprehensive that this won’t happen to him. But to tell he will cherish that victory for life and will not let Pac to re-take it, will forfeit all my respect to him! Because that tantamount as fear of losing because only him knows how high or low the level of his competition to Pac, and this a clear admittance that his win was a fluke! If he is confident enough that he could dispose Pac because he is better than him, then there’s no reason not to fight him for the 5th time, and a big win for him for a 5th time will finally close their book of competitions! Just one more win JMM, and that’s all we are asking! But to decline a 5th fight with variety of excuses will explain everything he fears to Pac!
