I don't know about that dude. there have been a lot of exciting fighters but none recently as famous or loved as pacman. Its more than fighting style man, people have to find that person appealing to them.

Thats because of the picture Bob Arum painted of Pac and the super human death fighters he supposedly was getting in the ring with. Casuals love a good story and Bob painted a perfect one several years ago for Pac. Tie that into Floyd being mr bad guy and Pac being mr nice guy. It sells.

However nobody buys into that BS anymore. Actually casuals, not die hard fans but casuals are starting to think he's losing now because he doesn't do PEDS anymore. That and ironically, JMM is supposedly on them. Which flips there entire logic about why Floyd demanded blood testing years ago.

Right or wrong a large amount of casuals are starting to see why PEDS are a problem and when doing so they question why Pac made such a big deal about it years ago. People that don't watch boxing know about the blood issues.

In the meantime Bob is trying to find fighters who will have to move up in weight and will make Pac look good. JMM 3 was supposed to be a continuation of Mayweather JMM where JMM looked like garbage. The Bradley fight was supposed to be an easy one vs a guy who can't punch. Back to back fails so now they pick a mini plaster less Margario styled fighter.

This will bring back the hype. I think Pac will look exceptional in it. People will over rate the win to hype the next fight. Like Bob has said, it's not about fighting the best but making entertainment. People love entertainment if there is a good story. That's where Bob comes in.

I see the Marquez-Bradley doing just about 350-400k buys, its crazy how these two guys can beat Pacquiao and still not get a big name, I guess you have to have the IT factor a quality that just attracts people to you that Pacquiao has plus his fighting style.

The Pac vs. Rios ppv rate seems about right, I predict around 600k since it is in China and they will not spend much time promoting it in the states, if it does more or even hits a million buys that would be an amazing feat. It depends people could be curious to see if Pac can bounce back from the KO? but I figure the majority of fake casual boxing fans hopped off his wagon real quick once he got ko cold so who knows?
