It's really just about fighting style. In truth, Pacquiao has no more "IT factor" than these two.Comment
-
Look at Mike Tyson. the perfect example of the "It" factor. He lost all the big fights in was in, but still people kept buying to see his next big fight.
Thing with Pacquiao is he's the only Asian, (only top filipino athlete aka the jackie robinson of the philippines), on top of a sport. Plus, his fighting style is very fan friendly and he's always thinking about giving the people a great fight and wanting his opponent to attack.Comment

LOL, funniest **** I ever heard, the fight is not on PPV tv in china, its on MOBILE phone or some crap, I doubt 50 million chinese will order that fight, heck not even many care about zou shiming, they love basketball more in China than boxing and the ones who do boxing in China are the super poor rice workers in the fields and most of them don't have internet.
I am guessing about 1 million Chinese will order the fight via cell phone which is what it is for 5 dollars lolComment
-
LMAO dude it was 3 million, not 300 million thats a load of bull it wasn't even the hottest search in china on that day so its BS.
Zou Shiming is not a star and boxing is not big in China, it was banned for years, and is only now coming back but the problem is no Chinese care about it, they care more about kobe bryant and yao ming and jeremy lin and basketball.Comment

I don't know about that dude. there have been a lot of exciting fighters but none recently as famous or loved as pacman. Its more than fighting style man, people have to find that person appealing to them.Comment

The Pacquiao-Rios fight will be free to the Chinese fans, but you can only imagine what the reaction will be in early 2014 if Arum suddenly tries to sell a Pacquiao fight to the Chinese fans for $5 or $6 after a knockout loss to Rios.
