Yeah seems crazy. but fighting a guy like Salido for a 12 round bout in a second fight is pretty crazy and rare as well

Can't see Rigo at 126 either but money talks, i dunno. I would love to see it though

Keep in mind Lomachenko is officially 6-0 because WSB counts towards your record now.

So its not like he's being rushed. He's fighting a WBO contender, then fighting for the WBO title.

      Nothing is being gifted here.

Does that mean he won't be breaking a record if he wins the title after Ramirez?

Arum sounds like he might be setting dude up for failure. Tossing him in the ring with Rigo like it'll be a cake walk could mean the torching of his much coveted investment early on.

I'm not sure how that will work. With Golden Boy fighters they announce their records including the WSB fights. I wonder how he will be introduced Saturday.

Agreed on nothing being gifted. Whether or not he's ready is one thing but he'll have the strap as an incentive for Rigo. Not sure if he'll beat Rigo but what he says here is true IMO

"I want to make boxing history, and to do that there's only one way -- go fast and show everybody what I can do," Lomachenko told ESPN.com through manager and translator Egis Klimas. "I don't want to be like other fighters, fighting four- and six-round fights. That's nonsense. I don't need to be built."

Lomachenko might be getting a shot in his second match.

Surely one fight is working your way up.

Rigo didn't participate in the WSOB though. The 6 guys that Lomachenko faced are better then any of the cab drivers Rigo faced in his first 5 fights so it's an even trade off IMO. isn't that kind of the same thing?

this doesn't make sense at all. Arum needs to learn more about timing

First he over marinates Gamboa vs. Lopez and now this mother****a under cooks and give us something Raw
