Is Demetrius Andrade the next big thing in boxing?

I think they would be similarly thought of, with a lot of people saying that is a boring fight.

I am high on Andrade but I was high on Dirrell also, now Andrade is not a carbon copy of Dirrell there are differences but they do have a lot of similarities and I find their talent comparable.


Andrade still has a lot to prove and he might not be what I think he is but he has a pretty bright future even if he falls a bit short of what I think.

I have to see Andrade against other top level comp,cause from what I've seen..His footwork needs much improvement,and he looks like he can be hit cleanly fairly easy..I'd like to see him vs Kirkland or Angulo guy's who will have no respect for him..Make him fight..I think it will tell the story of Andrade tbh..

He's young and is still growing so I'm not trying to be to hard on him..I'll save my true opinion of him when he steps it up a bit more..

Well I think his defense is alright, really Vanes didn't hit him clean all that much. Now Vanes is not the sharpest knife in the offensive drawer but Andrade was throwing quite a bit and Vanes couldn't really find him.

Now that is Vanes who is just alright so someone better than Vanes might be able to exploit that more.

I don't think he is a defensive wizard or anything like that and the range he keeps guys at will play a large role in how much he gets hit but I am not overly concerned about that part of his game because that jab will be a great defensive weapon.
