I think he's good but I can't see him beating Canelo, Cotto, Lara, or Trout just yet. Perhaps he needs a few more mid-level fights before he takes on the best at 154.

I had him edging the fight based on him taking the initiative in the last four rounds, but I wasn't impressed at all. He didn't look convincing at the centre of the ring, didn't display a particularly decisive jab and he was found wanting when Vanes would jump in with a lead right. Just doesn't have good footwork and isn't a well balanced fighter in general.
